Our journey began during a challenging time, one that tested our resilience and the strength of our family and new-found community. For three years, our family was separated due to changes in immigration policy during the Trump administration. My wife sought refuge through the Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence, and they were kind enough to accept. It was here that Irida found solace in cooking. What started as a way to keep her sane during her sanctuary stay quickly turned into something much more—a passion and a business that provided much needed income for our family and strengthened our ties to the community.

Our pierogi are a testament to the love and care we put into our craft. Unlike machine mass-produced versions with over-glutenized thick dough where every flavor seems to taste the same, we take pride in creating pierogi with a super thin, delicate dough that allows the flavorful fillings to shine. Our pierogi are bursting with ingredients that make each bite unique. We don’t use machine friendly ingredients like dehydrated potato, or starches to try and increase volume. Our ingredients are real, and we source many of them locally. No other pierogi can match our quality, texture, and, most importantly, flavor.

But we don’t stop at pierogi. Our menu features a variety of Eastern European favorites, including golabki, plov, bilyashi (pocket pies), farmers cheesecakes, borscht, sirniki, and more. Each dish is made with the same dedication to flavor and authenticity that has earned us a loyal following at local events and beyond.

We are grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve received from our community. It’s your belief in our food and our story that has allowed us to turn a difficult time into something beautiful—a business that not only sustains our family but also brings joy to others. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
